It was a grand day to be out tackling invasive plants at The Fredericton Botanical Garden. Great work was done by the Rotary Environment Team along the Creekside Trail and along the service road.
We were mostly after multiflora rose which has grown extensively into thick thickets. Pulling roots out is key to success. We also tackled oriental bittersweet that climbs, twists its way and smothers trees. Some glossy buckthorn was also removed.
