Honorary Members presented with certificates at AGM

Honorary Rotary Membership is the highest distinction a Club can bestow. It is reserved for individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary, meritorious service in furthering Rotary ideals, or who are permanent friends of Rotary.

Honorary Membership can be offered to both distinguished non-Rotarians and former Rotarians who still embody the "Service Above Self motto.

Honorary Members are:

  1. - Exempt from dues and assessments.

  2. - Entitled to attend all meetings and are welcomed to visit other Rotary Clubs worldwide without needing an active Rotarian member.

  3. - Participate in club social events and service projects.

  4. - Receive club communication and information of upcoming events.

  5. - Cannot vote on Club matters, or hold office or director positions or serve on committees.

These individuals are excellent ambassadors for Fredericton North Rotary Club and we look forward to a continuing and rewarding association with them. Their values align perfectly with our mission of doing good in our community and in the world through financial service and personal commitment.

We are honored to have the following individuals Brian Dingle, David Balmain, Larry Somerville, Kevin Roherty and also to David Myles MP who was away in Ottawa, to receive the designation of "Honorary Member".
