Aaron Dowding
Aaron Dowding is the New Brunswick Stewardship Manager for the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC). His role is to lead the NB stewardship team which is made up of NCC staff, summer interns, and volunteers who together, manage NCC nature reserves across the province. Their work is primarily related to conservation lands management, including habitat restoration, invasive species removal, Species at Risk monitoring, and ecological assessments on NCC-protected lands within the province. The stewardship team is also responsible for monitoring all NCC lands from Grand Manan to Miscou Island, ensuring that these protected spaces are well cared for and wildlife have space to thrive. The Lincoln Wetlands Natural Area is an important part of NCC’s conservation lands in New Brunswick, and is the closest nature reserve to NCC’ NB office in Fredericton.
