Rotarian of the Year
A Rotarian helps the club achieve its goals and acts with high ethical standards participating in the Clubs Community Projects.
This annual award is designated for a Rotarian in our Club who clearly stands out in demonstrating `Service Above Self". An outstanding club member who has made significant contributions to mission and operations and to one or more avenues of Community or International Service.
The award is given to a member who exhibits "Service above Self" in daily activities and promotion of Rotary by their actions and involvements. They are recognized for participation in one major activity or multiple activities and Committee Service. A candidate who is highly visible in the weekly activities of the Club.
The Selection Committee considered the following qualifying criteria:
Membership for at least one (1) year,
Membership in good standing,
An Active Membership Status,
Exemplary attendance record,
Involvement in Service and Fundraising Projects,
Participates in Club Social activities,
Has held an Office, served on the Board or Committee,
Invites guests and is active in membership recruitment.

The Selection Committee identified several deserving candidates for the award.
This year’s recipient is Christina (Chris) Darrah.
