Jennifer Yamazaki is the Director of the New Brunswick Invasive Species Council (NBISC), a nonprofit organization that works to prevent and manage invasive species across the province through education, outreach, and partner coordination. Jennifer leads many of NBISC’s public engagement initiatives, including the PlantWise program, which encourages gardeners, landscapers, and communities to choose non-invasive plants and promote native and low-risk alternatives.

She regularly delivers presentations and workshops to garden clubs, community groups, and environmental organizations across New Brunswick, helping audiences identify common invasive plants and adopt practical gardening practices that protect local ecosystems.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys gardening, camping, and spending time outdoors near Lake George.
